Well, this weekend took an unexpected turn and it has really thrown me for a loop. We thought we were far enough out of Irma’s path to not be directly impacted by the storm, but because of a few circumstances, we ended up spending most of the weekend packing the truck up with food, water, fuel, and supplies to send my husband TO FLORIDA. He arrived safely Monday. Luckily, our family members in Florida are safe, but they needed some extra help, and I’m grateful for a husband who was willing and ready to drop everything, to risk his own safety and comfort to travel down to help family members in need.
I’m up way later than I should be writing this post, but that’s the way the last 2 1/2 days have been. Exhausting! I’ll catch up on sleep another day.
